Vintage 1969 Shelby assembly photos.

All 1968-70 Shelbys  GT350s and 500s were assembled at AO Smith in Ionia, Michigan. These photos were taken at some point between late 1968 to mid 1969 on the assembly line at AO Smith. All 69-70 Shelbys started out on the Ford assembly line as Mach 1s minus the rocker moldings and were shipped to AO Smith for the Shelby conversion. AO Smith also manufactured the fiberglass components on site.
