| All the
photographs on this page, were taken during the launch and landing of
Columbia, (mission STS 94) . The launch photos are shot from right next
to the VAB approx. 3 miles away from the pad at the press viewing site The landing was shot at the KSC landing
complex which is about 1\8 of a mile from the runway. One reason for this shuttle page, is
to maybe renew some interest in the NASA program...namely the space shuttle. I will tell
anyone...once you attend a launch, you will be hooked! Most people don't realize how much
time and effort goes into launching a shuttle successfully and the employees take great
pride in the launch, many go to each and every launch and landing....on their own time.
