WORD OF CAUTION:  if you are replacing a trunk floor on a fastback, you must remove the rear seat frame brackets, you can see in the photo, I also had to remove the spot welds on some of the upper welds to be able to lift the bracing high enough to maneuver the old trunk panel out and the new one in Drseatbkcopy.gif (1778 bytes)

"All Metal" was used on the outer weld seams and "Dura-glass" on the inside Qrtfill1copy.gif (2050 bytes)


FLOOR

Here access holes are cut out in the torque box, to check the rust situation. Drvrtor1copy.gif (2148 bytes)   It was VERY rusty, but not to the point where it was going through. So it was treated  with Rassonil, then Corroless Torquct4copy.GIF (1861 bytes)
